Donations
As of March 4, 2025, supporting LA fire victims is easy through trusted channels. For monetary donations, the American Red Cross (redcross.org) and Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation (lafdfoundation.org) provide immediate relief and recovery aid, while LA County’s donation portal (lacounty.gov/donate) prioritizes cash for flexibility. Drop off food at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank (lafoodbank.org/fire), or volunteer time with NCJW|LA (ncjwla.org) to sort clothing—check their March 1–2 needs—or LA Works (laworks.com) for local tasks. Clothing donations are paused at many sites, so consider funding Suay Sew Shop’s upcycling (suayla.com). Verify all charities at charitynavigator.org to avoid scams, and follow updates on social media like @LACountyISD, as needs shift daily.
